Fawn Mckay
Fawn McKay's Brodie was born Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. She was a member of the Mormon Church's first family Fawn McKay devoted her creative abilities in the field of literature and impressive expertise in researching to produce the incredible psycho-historical biographies of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. It was entitled: The Only Man has My History. It was a title taken from an 1844 funeral eulogy made by Joseph Smith. He said: You didn't know me or my heart. No one knows about my past. I'm not able to tell my story. I wrote the 29-year old Fawn at the time: Ever since that moment of candor there have been at least three hundred writers who have been able to take on the challenge. Many have abused him some have glorified him. A few have tried their hands with a diagnosis made by a doctor. It's not that documents are lacking however they're in complete contradiction. It is up to us to separate accounts from the plagiarism of third parties and to fit Mormons' claims with the non-Mormons' in an authentic historical mosaic. This is exciting as well as interesting. FawnBrodie embraced the task of professional success. Her research and writings brought her recognition around the globe: Thaddeus Stephens. The Devil Drives (1959) Scourge Of the South Thomas Jefferson. The intimate Histories (1974) The Life of Sir Richard Burton (1974) and Richard Nixon.
