Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. Her birthplace was in Passaic (New Jersey) on 19th June 1978. Her father was Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. Her parents raised their daughter in Queens, New York. Her family relocated from Queens, NY, to the Dominican Republic when she was 10, and lived in the Dominican Republic for 7 years.
